Out the Back Door explores the world as it is for children; one part reality to lots of parts imagination; a show of insight and wonder; of memory and fantasy; of large gesture and minute detail.

Physical and non-verbal, the show journeys from the unbridled possibility of outdoors to the thrill of the forbidden on the roof via the confinement of the kitchen and the magical secrecy of the landing.
