A clown show with a difference - A clown story like no other
'Fibril' Clown faces his past, present and future. His past is too painful to live with, his present is all that it can be in joy, truth and hope and then life deals him yet another devastating blow. All seems too much to contend with until a tiny glimmer of light comes to him in the form of his inner child, a child that leads him to a new hope... but hope deals the hardest blows.
'City of Clowns' is an exploration of the very essence of being, in all its hope, love, fear, joy, disappointment and resilience.
A sad, humorous, truthful and poignant meditation on what it is to be human.
'City of Clowns' will make you laugh, cry and embrace the ups and downs of life.
"The Artistry is as devastating as the imagination"
SUNDAY INDEPENDENT
"Keane's performance is beautiful, nuanced - each gesture conveys frailty, vulnerability, bewilderment, an emaciated figure dressed in a cross between a babygro and overalls. His movements are studied - intense, precise, and microscopically accurate - and his language is tentative, almost wordless."
